Miss Ella WILLIAMS died at the home of Mrs. Ray Sharp about  midnight on Sunday. Death resulted from a third cerebral  hemorrhage. Funeral services on Tuesday afternoon from the  Machledt Funeral Home were in charge of Rev. Raymond Hartling,  pastor of the Hcristian Church of which she was a member. With  Mrs. Heinen at the piano, Mrs. CF Moore and Mrs. Fred Rice sang  Gates Ajar and Asleep in Jesus. The casket was carried by CF  Moore; Ivan Harris; CM Moore; HC Machledt and Billy Machledt who  also carried the floral offerings. Burial in Maple Ridge  Cemetery. Miss Williams was the last of the 11 children of Daniel  and Margaret Penny William and was born in Waveland Sept 24,  1870. After the death of her parents she made her home for many  years in the family residence on W. Main Street with her brother  Charles William and her sister, Mary Williams now deceased. There  remains two nieces, Miss Blanche Williams of Herron, Ill and Miss  Ada Williams of Crawfordsville and 3 nephews: Clay Williams of  Waveland and Fred and Floyd Porter of Portland Mills. - transcribed by kbz
